HAUL TIME: Sephora

So whilst I was in Madrid, for the first time EVER (please don’t shout at me) I visited a Sephora and oh my gosh, it was insane. I can’t believe I had been a sephora virgin for that long, I was missing out on so much! I guess the trouble with living in the UK is that we don’t have one!

Any lets get on to what I actually brought, it’s not absolutely loads but its enough for me to just stare at it all hours on end in the hotel room…

Lets start with my biggest excitement, the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. This is literally the bomb, I instantly fell in love with it. The shades to choose from are warms, neutrals and browns, it’s one of those palettes you can take everywhere as it has all the shades you need- a mixture of mattes and shimmers too. The pigmentation is amazing, however you do get a bit of fall out in the palette but not too much when applying. It’s just so good, anyone looking to purchase it I highly recommend you do as you honestly can’t go wrong!

Next I picked up Sephora’s Long Lasting Kohl pencil in a nude colour, I put this on my waterline and it makes my eyes look more awake and less red and black from mascara smudges. I mention using this hack in My Best Beauty Hacks so go check that out. This product is super creamy and also easy to apply! It is an affordable price too which is great, I’ll be getting lots of use out of it.

I then saw the brand Shiseido and remembered I watched Estee Lalonde’s video talking about a really good newly released foundation from them and I was totally sold, so when I saw it in Sephora I had to get it. Its the Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation and it has an SPF 20, which is awesome. I got colour matched and its not a bad shade. I love this foundation so much, it does what it says and lasts all day I was so impressed! The finish is matte but it doesn’t look flat (aha that rhymed!), I think its so perfect for summer when you get a bit hot and sweaty it still looks moderately matte with a glow. The packaging is so sleek and satisfying, it has frosted glass and an ombre black to clear lid that’s kind of cured, which is super cool. I think I may have found my new favourite foundation along with L’oreal True Match of course, which is also a third of the price, eek!

Next is a mini size Makeup Forever Smoothing Primer, its super cute and small. However I’m yet to have much opinions on it as I’m still trying it out, but I have to say at the moment I’m not to sure about it. It seems to be quite drying on my skin and doesn’t improve the quality of my foundation base, which is quite disappointing. It may just be my skin type or the type of formula that doesn’t agree with my skin. I shall carry on trying it out.IMG_3743.JPG

Then because I have heard such great things about the Kat Von D Ever Lasting Liquid Lipsticks, of course I had to pick one up. I got the shade Lolita II, it’s a nudey, brown, red its hard to describe but I’ve swatched it so you can see. The formula is amazing it literally lasts so long, I wore it one evening out for dinner and I only had to reapply once because I was eating, but when your drinking it doesn’t come off. They are quite pigmented so I only needed a small amount, hopefully it will last more a long amount of time as I love this!

Lastly as I was queuing up and…the line you’ve probably heard so many times, I spotted the original Beauty Blenders so I had to pick one up. I got a pink one of course and mannn I genuinely understand the hype around these now, they are so darn good. I love them but I feel as though it has taken me away from my RT complexion sponge which I feel really bad about (LOL), it is a lot better in my opinion. It’s really bouncy and is so easy to use. I don’t find that it soaks up much of the product either which is a bonus!

Thanks for reading, and also for 2k plus views on here, I’m so pleased! I’ve also received some lovely comments from people too which I really appreciate so thank you to those people!
