I’ve recently brought three new lipsticks within the last week, how bad is that! They are all nude but absolutely gorgeous so I really wanted to share them with you as they are so good! I’ve been getting into lipsticks a lot at the moment, mostly because I’m starting to feel more daring and adventurous with my make up. So these lippies are a mixture of prices as they are from Mac, Colour Pop and MUA. Lets just get straight on into it, I’m sure your all dying!
Firstly possibly my new favourite ever lipstick, it’s Mac Modesty in a cremesheen finish, ahh I love it so much! It is very moisturising, stays on well and is a gorgeous ‘your lips but better’ colour. Honestly you need this lipstick in your life, it’s only £15.50 which I think is a reasonable price and is so worth the money.
Next is MUA’s new Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in the shade Tranquillity, these are amazing I cannot believe they have come out with such good quality liquid lipsticks. They are a little bit drying but not majorly and they are comfortable to wear. This peachy/brown colour is my type of summer nude, I find it similar to Mac’s Honeylove. At £3 you can’t really go wrong, I love how these are so cheap, I shall be picking up many more this summer!
Finally ColourPop’s Ultra Matte liquid lipstick in the shade Midi, is a classic nude and is said to be a dupe for the Kylie Jenner Koko K lip kit (midi is slightly lighter). Once you apply it and it turns from liquid to matte, the shade darkens slightly into a nice pink/brown shade. Its gorgeous! That is why I have two swatches of this showing the colour once it dries compared to when you first put it on, the picture may not pick this up but there is definitely a clear difference in real life (bottom colour dried, top colour just applied), I do not mind this though. It is so easy to apply, dries in a NON sticky formula which I love and lasts so long. Altogether I adore this lipstick!
Hope you enjoyed this post and possibly found some new lipsticks that you would like to try! Please keep a look out on Alice-Tilly’s blog as I shall be doing a guest blog post on Sunday the 24th of July, I can’t wait!
