Wow where has the time gone, I’ve been meaning to sit down and write a favourites blog post for a while now as there has been lots of things I’ve been dying to tell you about! I always love reading favourite posts as usuazlly you discover things you’ve never heard of before or they make me want to buy a certain product (not so good for my bank balance!). Not only are there some beauty favourites but food, music and style. Lets get straight on into it…
- My Bershka jeans of joy
Ahhh I do love these jeans…In the October half term I went to Lisbon and they had a million Bershka stores so literally, I was in my heaven. I really wanted some new jeans, I’m the person who finds it so hard to find the perfect jeans and when I tried these on I was like YES THESE ARE THE ONES!! I adore the cut of them, the colour, and the fit – which is figure hugging and perfect! I’ve worn them so much recently, not so much in December as they are an ankle grazer-straight-leg style and my small lil’ ankles get a lil’ chilly. But nether the less, I have been obsessed with these beautiful jeans right now.
2. Black Opium Perfume
The first beauty item is a perfume that I got for my birthday recently, it’s YSL’s Black Opium. I’m in love with the scent, it’s so darn good! I’ve been wearing it all the time, packing it onto my neck and wrists until my head hurts, quite literally! I can’t get enough of it. Honestly you have to try this perfume in your local department store – it’s just amazing!
3. Colouring Book
Something I’ve recently been addicted to is colouring before bed or when I want to take my mind off things. It’s so relaxing and I’m not just saying that, I once spent 30 minutes colouring one night and had a 13 hour sleep, just out of the blue, I wasn’t ill, tired or anything! I must say that since then I haven’t yet had the same lengthy sleep but my sleeps are so much deeper which I think is down to me drifting away much quicker because I am relaxed. I love to use felt tips rather than pencils as I find it much quicker and less stressful, I can’t cope with colouring pencils it takes far to long with me lol! Another thing you should try, colouring!
4. Bare Minerals Powder Foundation
I always go through phases where I wear this everyday and then I have a no makeup day and stop. But recently I can’t get enough of it. I think it’s a product that is so underrated, it provides a light-medium coverage (pretty buildable) and gives a really nice natural glow which I love. I like using Bare Minerals base products as they seem so healthy and natural on my skin. I use the shade ‘light’ but I really need to buy another one in ‘fairly light’ because I used it all up, it’s lasted just under a year which I think is so good!
5. Propercorn Corn Crunch
Recently I received more yummy snacks from Propercorn so thank you guys! Their new range of Corn Crunch is out now and let me say… I love the Sweet & Smoky Chilli flavour. They’re so fiery and flavoursome and such a good snack. They describe them as ‘nut like’ which I agree to an extent but its more like a piece of solid popcorn, it’s hard to describe them I guess. I shall be sharing these with my family throughout the whole of Christmas and I reckon they’ll be pretty popular! So the next time you’re in Tescos why not pick up a packet of their new delicious Corn Crunch!
6. THE 1975
OMG where have I been? For some reason I never felt the need to jump on the 1975 band wagon (aha do you get it?) but after seeing them perform on the British Music TV Awards I instantly fell in love. They are quite perfectly the typical teenage movie band and I am obsessed with their tracks. In particular I love ‘Girls’ and ‘Sound’, they are such good ‘feel good’ jams. There is something so attractive about Matthew (the lead singer) when he sings, it’s mesmerising. I’m sure most of you are laughing at me right now as I’m so late to it all but I am glad I found them, they are my new favourite band!
7. Liquid Gold Alpha H
Last but not least is the one and only…LIQUID GOLD my saviour. Of course I had to put this in my favourites as it’s true, I have been loving this recently. I reviewed this product HERE if you’d like to find out more. It really helps to keep my skin spot free and calm. If you haven’t tried this already and are wondering what on earth I’m talking about, it’s basically a formulated glycolic acid that is proven to help keep skin radiant, unblock pores and reduce fine lines (plus many more) which it defiantly does do all of this. I have nothing bad to say about this product, hence it’s appearance in my favourites!
Thanks for reading and for the continuous support! Please remember to scroll down and leave a comment or even subscribe to my blog, you won’t miss out on any posts this way! Enjoy the Christmas break everyone.
