So as some of you may know already from my Instagram, in the half term I visited the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, which was a very beautiful city! Instead of me waffling on about what I got up to each day and night, I’m just going to show you in photos, hope thats okay 😉 Enjoy…
When we arrived into our little apartment we stayed on a road a little similar to this cobbled, narrow street- these where everywhere.
We went on an awesome Segway tour, which I highly recommend as it’s a great way to see a city! Here are a few snaps from that:
On the second day we decided to visit the ruins of a very impressive castle, it had some great views too!
Going out that day
We went to a really cool urban area that was developed from an old factory called LX Factory, there was amazing restaurants and really cool homeware shops!
Finally we hit the shops which were AMAZING- best shopping ever! Then we had a late lunch with another stunning view on the a roof top of a hotel, which had delicious food.
I was lucky enough to go on a sun set sailing cruise (wow thats a mouthful) down the river, which beautiful!
Sadly this was our last day in Lisbon so we did a little bit more shopping and some last minuet sight seeing, including going to the Maat Museum of Electricity and Architecture because the museum we originally wanted to go to (next door) was closed so we went in there instead.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this blog post, and not had to read me rambling on for once! I would love to hear your feedback so please let me know if you like this style as I would happily do more. Thank you for reading (even though there wasn’t much to read aha) and I’ll hopefully see you next time.
